WATCHING A DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT HOVHANNES ISAKOV AT YSU FACULTY OF HISTORY
The film, which is shown for the first time in Armenia, is dedicated to the life and activities of Hovhannes Isakov, an Armenian scientist, writer, admiral, military strategist, and commander, especially his direct participation and role in the Great Patriotic War.

Before watching the film, YSU History Faculty Dean Edik Minasyan, "creators" of the film Tigran Manasyan, Armais Kamalov and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin gave welcoming speeches.

According to E. Minasyan, the screening of the film at the Faculty of History was not accidental, because the screening and discussion of such films are very important, especially for future historians. Such educational films teach patriotism, and respect for elders, and those who ensure our peaceful life.

It should be noted that Hovhannes Isakov was a versatile person. He was also an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, a member of the Union of Writers and had scientific works. Even though Isakov received a serious physical injury, he continued his military activities.
